Office Manager for Global Firm
We are currently looking for an experienced, proactive and forward-thinking individual for a fantastic office management position based in Birmingham City Centre. The firm are an international business and are looking for someone flexible to carry out responsibilities across their city centre office. This is a really fantastic opportunity for an individual with existing office management and operational experience within a professional setting. You will be required to carry out the following amongst other varied responsibilities:
Management of work flow whilst understanding internal and external client needs and reviewing processes
Management of Reception and Team Assistants
Coordination of staff and cover in line with business needs whilst always maintaining channels of communication in regards to development
Handling of HR issues within the team
Conducting 1 to 1’s and appraisals
Full management of the recruitment and induction process for all new starters as well as organisation of leavers whilst apply a proactive approach to staff feedback
Maintenance of all internal systems including IT, files, reports and stationery
Ad hoc management of specific business-related projects including social events
This is a highly varied and in-depth role that will require you always demonstrate a professional approach to your workload. Office Management experience is essential for this role as is people management. Ideally you will have worked in a professional services setting. This role is office-based Monday to Friday 9.30am until 5.30pm.
