Part-Time Receptionist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and personable Front of House professional to join a boutique, professional services firm in the heart of Birmingham city centre.

This varied, part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service, while also supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a warm and professional front-of-house experience, welcoming clients and ensuring exceptional hospitality throughout their visit.
  • Prepare and serve refreshments, maintaining high standards across all meetings.
  • Manage meeting rooms, including scheduling, setup, and reset, ensuring spaces are always client-ready.
  • Coordinate catering, couriers, and travel arrangements with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety standards and stay up to date with best practices.
  • Support the wider team with client events and internal activities.
  • Assist with internal reporting and documentation, including DEFRA-related requirements.
  • Contribute to data collection and analysis to support energy efficiency and compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Front of House, PA or client-facing role.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, including diary management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude and a keen eye for detail.
