PA to CEO
We have a fantastic new temporary opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to support the CEO of a well-established government-funded charity.
This is a key role within the organisation, sitting at the heart of the senior leadership team and providing first-class administrative and executive support. Working closely with the CEO and senior stakeholders, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the executive function, managing priorities, coordinating key activities, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diary and inbox management, drafting correspondence, and responding to enquiries where appropriate.
- Preparing for governance, board, and senior leadership meetings, including compiling agendas, board packs, reports, and taking minutes.
- Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements, accommodation, and meeting logistics.
- Organising internal and external meetings, ensuring all documentation and briefing materials are prepared in advance.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of events, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Assisting with HR administration, including onboarding documentation and general people-related administration.
- Maintaining accurate records and confidential information with a high level of discretion.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required.
About You:
- Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or senior administrative support role.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and handling confidential information.
- Experience supporting governance or board-level meetings would be highly advantageous.
- Previous exposure to the charity, public sector, or not-for-profit environment would be beneficial.
