First Impressions Matter – Receptionist (TEMP)

Software Company | Slough | Up to £15ph | 2-Month Temp

Our client, an established software company, is looking for a polished and personable Receptionist to join their busy office in Slough on a 2-month temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, thrives in a professional workplace and takes pride in delivering a first-class front-of-house experience. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients and colleagues, while also supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

The Role
  • Meeting and greeting visitors, clients and guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Managing the reception area to ensure it remains organised and presentable at all times
  • Answering and transferring incoming calls efficiently
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and preparing rooms for meetings
  • Handling post, deliveries and couriers
  • Providing administrative support to the wider office team
  • Supporting facilities tasks including liaising with suppliers, monitoring office supplies and helping ensure the workplace runs smoothly
  • Assisting with ad hoc office coordination tasks as required

About You
  • Previous reception, front-of-house or office support experience preferred
  • Professional, friendly and confident communication style
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive with a hands-on approach
  • Comfortable multitasking in a busy office environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office and general IT skills
  • Positive, team-focused and eager to help
