We’re partnering with a leading consumer brand to appoint an experienced Interim Head of Marketing for a 3-month assignment. This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can quickly embed into the business, lead from the front, and deliver measurable results at pace.
The Role
As Interim Head of Marketing, you will provide clear leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring all marketing activity aligns with wider business goals, revenue targets, and brand positioning.
You’ll take ownership of marketing performance across channels, while driving operational excellence and strengthening team capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and hands-on management of the marketing function, including oversight of wider stakeholders
- Coach and develop team members to elevate capability and performance
- Lead paid media strategy, ensuring optimal performance and strong relationships with key platform partners
- Own and optimise the marketing budget to maximise efficiency and ROI
- Oversee cross-channel strategy, including CRM and lifecycle marketing excellence
- Champion data-driven decision-making, using insights to shape strategy and identify growth opportunities
- Rebuild and optimise email marketing, including segmentation and automation strategy
- Foster a high-performance, results-driven team culture with clear accountability
- Establish effective processes and ways of working to improve operational efficiency
- Act as a senior stakeholder partner, communicating strategy and performance clearly across leadership teams
- Deliver tangible results quickly by prioritising effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure all marketing activity supports and enhances brand equity, including creative planning and agency collaboration
About You
- Proven experience operating at Head of Marketing level within a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment
- Strong track record in paid media, CRM, and performance marketing
- Highly data-driven, with the ability to translate insight into action
- Experienced in leading and developing high-performing teams
- Comfortable operating in an interim capacity – able to quickly assess, prioritise, and execute
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercially focused with a results-oriented mindset
