Legal Secretary
One of our reputable law firm clients is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their Matrimonial team on a full-time, temporary basis. This is a key support role where you will help ensure the smooth running of the team through efficient and accurate administrative assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including diary management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
- Manage legal documentation and case files, ensuring accurate electronic filing and compliance with internal systems.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, delivering a professional and confidential service.
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and court bundles to a high standard of accuracy.
- Manage incoming requests, prioritising workloads and supporting multiple fee earners to meet deadlines.
- Support matter management and billing processes, contributing to overall team efficiency.
You will need:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative role within a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office; experience with legal systems is an advantage.
