Maintenance Gardener / Houseman – £45,000 per annum

We are seeking a professional and reliable Maintenance Gardener / Houseman to support a private household based in an exceptional residence in London’s West End. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a stable and structured working environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing upkeep and presentation of the property’s outdoor spaces, including patios and expansive terraces. Duties will include routine cleaning, clearance, and regular jet washing. Approximately 75% of the role will involve maintenance and cleaning tasks, with the remaining 25% focused on gardening responsibilities.
While the position is primarily maintenance-focused, a working knowledge of planting schemes and border management would be advantageous, enabling the candidate to provide informed recommendations to the principals regarding suitable planting choices. The role also requires a physically capable individual who is comfortable undertaking manual tasks, including occasional heavy lifting.
