Business Development Executive

Join a leading organisation in Birmingham and take ownership of driving new business, building senior relationships, and making a real impact. We’re looking for a proactive, ambitious professional to lead the front end of the M&A process, working independently to identify and develop high-value acquisition opportunities.

The Role
  • Drive outbound activity through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events.
  • Engage senior decision-makers to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Represent the business at industry events and trade shows.
  • Maintain a structured, insight-led CRM pipeline.
About You
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, ideally within financial services or M&A.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with CRM systems.
