Graduate Marcomms Account Exec in Lifesciences!

We are working for a market-leading communications agency based in super slick central London close to Blackfriars and easy walk from Southbank and Waterloo. They are looking currently for a new graduate Account Executive to join their medical comms team! This is an exceptional opportunity to join a successful Marcomms agency in a thriving and important field!

The role will provide project administration and coordination support to the busy team of Account Execs and you will work directly with their clients on individual projects and campaigns. This team focus on medical and pharmaceutical organisations as well as advisory boards, clinical specialists and teaching and professional bodies to help them create informative, memorable, and exciting platforms to communicate key medical information. For the initial few months you will be supporting with the coordination for the events and symposiums – this includes conferences, conventions and seminars as well as online, web and digital programmes and publication planning. In this entry level role, you will need to have excellent office based administrative skills as well as strong organisational skills. As the team specialise in pharma/ medical comms a background (such as degree) in life sciences is realy helpful. An interest in marketing, PR, events or communications would be advantageous as this role focussing on the events and platforms used to communicate complex medical information.

Skills wise you should thrive in a busy and fast paced working environment. You will have an exposure to life sciences, whether that be through education or work,  and have a keen interest in helping the sector to engage with a wide audience. Strong verbal and particularly written communication skills are essential. The lovely team are experts in their area and welcome new ideas to the table. They have a great mix of a hardworking, successful culture and a laid-back feel. They take their work seriously but not themselves! 

For their graduate entry the team welcome applicants with a degree or postgraduate qualification in a life science related subject from a high tariff university or institution with exceptional research profile. The team are highly communicative and the business offer hybrid working but they feel they get more ideas and inclusion through in person collaboration so you should be happy to work in central London 3-4 days per week. 

Based in a central London office this is a great first step into Medical Comms or the PR/ Marketing field and will provide 3 months of brilliant experience to take forward. The company have an excellent track of offering permanent opportunities with excellent progression within the team.
