Procurement Lead

A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious public sector procurement professional ready to make real impact!


Due to continued growth, our client is expanding its Client Services team and seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead high-profile, transformation-driven projects across Local Authorities and the wider public sector.

You’ll take ownership of procurement workstreams for new Early Payment programmes, while partnering with public sector clients to modernise processes, unlock value, and embed innovative solutions within regulated frameworks.

The Role
  • Lead Local Authority and public sector clients through end-to-end transformation projects.
  • Own the sourcing and procurement workstream within a multi-disciplinary delivery team.
  • Embed Early Payment solutions into tenders and procurement strategies.
  • Act as a change champion, driving stakeholder engagement and buy-in.
  • Provide expert, practical advice on complex tender challenges.
  • Contribute to strategic internal initiatives and continuous improvement.
About You
  • Strong procurement and contract management experience (Local Authority/public sector preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of public sector frameworks, governance, and compliance.
  • Confident communicator with the credibility to influence at senior levels.
  • Commercially minded, solutions-focused, and analytically strong.
  • Passionate about driving innovation and measurable impact.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple clients and workstreams.
