2026 Graduate Scheme - September start
The employer is looking to recruit a driven, positive and curious graduate, ready to join their September 2026 graduate cohort. The starting salary will be c. £30,000 and will be an initial 18 month graduate programme before moving to a permanent role.
The graduate programme has extended across all the businesses European offices and was designed to secure the top graduates who will become part of the long-term succession planning and leadership for their global business. This role will join the Operations and Logistics function of the business and will be based in the UK office headquartered in the West Midlands, close to Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Dudley. You will have the opportunity to progress within the company at the end of the graduate scheme and the company has a very low turnover rate – both previous graduate trainees have been promoted internally since completing the programme. The company is a world leader in decarbonization and the steel industry. In this position, you would be working with the EU operations of the business as well as their clients within the UK&I market.
You will be working with their customers on their sustainable products, and this role is a real lynchpin role of coordinating between technical support, account managers, architects and stakeholders across the industry with a focus on client within the built environment and automotive sectors. In the future this will also mean that you will lead projects in CRM systems, digitalization, customer portal and the digital contact experience. The team in office are great and you will be well supported both in training and mentoring – including having your own senior mentor from within the group. In addition you will be given an individual onboarding programme connected to your specific position where you, together with your mentor, will plan for an individual, customised study trip to another EU office within the group. You will work with other 2026 graduate trainees on various international projects a well as your UK team in the day to day tasks. In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
· Solid English skills (both written and verbal)
· A strong interest in sustainability and manufacturing
· Ideally some interest in the wider geopolitical influences on business
· To be driven, honest and respectful
· The ambition to develop and improve both yourself and the business
· Have ability to see the entire picture and be analytical in your work
