Join a global, highly respected law firm and play a key role within the People Services Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, forward-thinking professional to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As a People & Culture Team Leader, you will be central to delivering an exceptional employee experience. You will manage a team of 3–5 People Operations Administrators and ensure the smooth delivery of an international, shared HR service.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the Birmingham office.

The Role
  • Oversee and prioritise the internal HR ticketing system, ensuring queries are handled promptly, delegated effectively, and escalated when necessary.
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of 3–5 People Operations Administrators, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow Team Leaders across People Services to deliver efficient and consistent BAU activities.
  • Produce accurate and insightful weekly reports to support the People Management Team and wider business.
  • Oversee a seamless onboarding experience for trainees, apprentices, interns, and vacation scheme cohorts.
  • Ensure all new joiners are set up promptly across internal systems with 100% data accuracy.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on team data entry, providing real-time, constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
About You
  • Previous experience within an HR Shared Service or People Operations environment (e.g. Recruitment, Performance Management, Learning & Development).
  • Proven experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, processes, policies, and best practice.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of work effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident stakeholder management with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
