Financial Hub Assistant | Birmingham
We are seeking an organised and proactive Finance Hub Assistant to support a collaborative Central Hub team serving our largest and most complex international clients. This is an ideal next step for someone looking to progress their career in finance within a fast-paced, professional environment.
As part of the Central Hub, you will act as the first point of contact for clients, working closely with colleagues across the business. The role is well suited to an analytical individual with strong attention to detail, excellent client relationship skills, and proven reporting capability.
You will:
- Manage and respond to incoming queries across multiple communication channels.
- Investigate issues, identify effective solutions, and escalate matters where appropriate.
- Build and maintain strong knowledge across a range of products and services.
- Report on progress to managers and colleagues, supporting the development and implementation of efficient processes.
- Proactively engage with clients and suppliers to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Provide compliance support and administer online billing systems.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer service–focused role, with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Administrative experience is highly desirable, including the ability to manage tasks efficiently, maintain accurate records, and support day-to-day operations.
- A proactive mindset, with clear examples of problem-solving, initiative, and the ability to anticipate and resolve issues.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while remaining organised and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
