Our client is a high profile international brand, with an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join their team in the heart of Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll specialist seeking a part-time role in a trendy, glamorous fast-paced environment!
As the primary escalation point for payroll and reward enquiries, you’ll explain processes clearly and support colleagues in understanding their pay and benefits.
This busy and varied role will entail managing a large busy payroll for weekly and monthly employees.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurately process end-to-end payroll both fortnightly and monthly for salaried and casual employees.
· Administer employee benefits, and be the point of contact for related queries.
· Take ownership of payroll, pensions, and reward operations, coordinating with external providers, internal systems, and multiple teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
· Liaise with benefits administrators and external payroll providers.
· Support with auto-enrolment and be the point of contact for any payroll queries.
· Support the HR team with reporting and managing data.
· Assist with month-end and year-end payroll reporting.
Applicants must have:
· Confident understanding of UK payroll legislation
· Experience of managing a large payroll, end-to-end
· Experience of managing benefits administration
· Numerical skills at a high standard, with excellent attention to detail
· Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel
The ideal candidate for this role would need previous payroll experience and advanced experience working with Microsoft Excel and payroll software.
