Procurement Specialist
A fantastic Opportunity for an outstanding Procurement Specialist!
Location: Birmingham | Hybrid
Due to rapid expansion, our client is seeking a talented Procurement professional to strengthen their Client Services team. You will spearhead procurement workstreams for new Early Payment projects while supporting their existing client portfolio to unlock further growth opportunities. The role will specialise in working with public sector clients.
This role offers the perfect blend of utilising your procurement expertise while developing valuable project management skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The role will entail:
- Leading Local Authority clients through comprehensive project implementations, transforming their procurement activities
- Drive the sourcing/procurement workstream as part of our dynamic project delivery team
- Partner with clients to seamlessly integrate early payment solutions into tender evaluations and procurement documentation
- Champion change across client organizations, building buy-in from Procurement teams and multiple departments
- Provide expert guidance on complex tender queries, crafting innovative solutions that maximise client benefits
- Support the development and execution of strategic internal projects
Applicants must have:
- Previous procurement and procurement contract experience, ideally within Local Government or Public Sector environment
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a solutions-focused minds
- Enthusiasm for driving change and implementing innovative solutions
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and project workstreams simultaneously
