Top-Level Cook/Chef & Light Housekeeper – Buckinghamshire
We are seeking an exceptional Cook/Chef with light housekeeping abilities to support an informal couple living in beautiful Buckinghamshire. This is a long-term, stable position ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a comfortable, well-run home.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner to a high standard, with a focus on fresh, seasonal, and varied cuisine
- Menu planning, shopping for ingredients, and maintaining kitchen stock
- Light housekeeping duties to support the smooth running of the home (in coordination with the daily housekeeper)
- Maintaining a clean, well-organised kitchen and pantry
- Assisting with occasional household tasks as needed
- Working collaboratively with the assistant permanent Daily Housekeeper
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a private Cook/Chef or high-level cook
- Ability to prepare a variety of dishes to an excellent standard
- Confident driver – essential, as the home is located outside London
- Professional, discreet, and reliable
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Friendly, flexible, and comfortable working in an informal household
