Senior Project Manager (Land)

Our client, a global industry leader, is on the lookout for an exceptional Project Manager to join their high-performing Birmingham team. You’ll take the reins on a portfolio of influential operational projects within Land Development and Infrastructure, playing a central role in shaping the future of the business.


You’ll be joining a collaborative, ambitious project management team that’s driving real change across the organisation.

As Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of key programmes and cyclical initiatives, while also steering wider strategic projects that are critical to the firm’s long-term success. This is an exciting chance to partner closely with operational leads, senior stakeholders, and directors during a pivotal transformation period, your impact will be both visible and valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver multiple end-to-end projects, ensuring exceptional standards, smooth execution, and timely delivery.
  • Own and manage project budgets, ensuring financial discipline and proactive forecasting.
  • Act as the go-to contact for internal teams and external partners, building strong and productive relationships.
  • Develop and roll out engaging communication plans, keeping all stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Support, coordinate, and contribute to high-level meetings with senior leadership, capturing actions and driving accountability.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, keeping projects on track and issues under control.
  • Use data-driven insights and analytics to support decisions, track performance, and tell the project story.
  • Champion continuous improvement, enhancing processes, governance, automation, and efficiency across the function.
  • Serve as a trusted escalation point, offering clarity, solutions, and direction for project-related queries.
About You:
  • Proven experience leading large-scale projects, ideally within Land Development, Infrastructure, or similar sectors.
  • Strong grounding in project management methodologies such as Prince/Agile.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and build long-lasting partnerships.
  • Confident with budget management, risk assessment, and project governance.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and driven, bringing a track record of delivering high-impact, high-visibility projects.
