A warm, friendly private household in Holland Park is seeking a full-time, experienced Housekeeper to join their home on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is energetic, organised, and takes real pride in their work. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and has a flexible, team-focused approach.
Responsibilities:
- Act as first responder to the door – deliveries, guests, and basic household security
- Grocery shopping (local and online), unpacking, and organising pantry and fridge
- Fridge management – cleanliness, stock rotation, and expiry checks
- Prepare simple, home-style meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner as needed)
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchen, bathrooms, and surfaces
- Laundry and ironing – including care of delicate fabrics
- Light maintenance – changing lightbulbs (including antique fixtures)
- Deep seasonal cleaning during school holidays – silver polishing, appliances, etc.
Super long-term job for an experienced, diligent housekeeper with excellent written references and good spoken English
