Driving Housekeeper - Gillingham, Dorset

Daily Housekeeper with Light Nanny Duties – Dorset/Somerset Border – £40–45K DOE

A warm and welcoming private family is seeking an experienced Live-Out Daily Housekeeper to support them in their beautiful rural home near the Dorset/Somerset border. The role includes light nanny duties for twin children (aged 11) who attend a local day school

Rural Dorset – near Gillingham, Templecombe, Tisbury. Must be able to drive due to location.

Monday to Friday only. Early start preferred, with availability for school pick-up. Occasional overnight stay when mum is in London (with advance notice)

A relaxed and informal household comprising a mother and her two children. The children are at school during the day. The father works in London during the week.

Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, ironing, tidying
• School pick-ups and occasional light childcare
• Light family cooking (simple, healthy meals)
• Running errands, grocery shopping, general household support

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in private housekeeping roles
• Confident driver with a full UK driving licence
• Fluent or strong spoken English
• Organised, reliable, and flexible with a warm and friendly personality
• Comfortable with children and able to support a busy family routine

£40,000–£45,000+ per annum, depending on experience
