PA to CEO of arts and antiques business - unique and varied role in exciting sector!
Working with the easy-going, and super knowledgeable director, this role will be provide full business support to him and the gallery. Working part-time (4 days per week) you will be a skilled PA with administrative experience and the ability to support within a small team.
The business specialises in bespoke antiques, high-end collectables and luxury investment antiques and pieces with historical significance and craftsmanship to the highest degree. The PA / Operations role will bring calm to the chaos and structure to the day-to-day tasks! You’ll need to have strong admin skills and have some experience of supporting an individual in a business or private setting. You should have good Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have exceptional written communication skills. Alongside the diary and inbox management, you will assist with basic bookkeeping / finance as well as the day-to-day operations of the business. The role will also assist with the research and coordination support for exhibitions and special collections.
Liaising with UHNW buyers and investors across the art and finance world you will need to have a warm, confident and professional manner. An excellent professional written communication style is essential.
This role will be 4 days per week with the opportunity for one of those to be based from home. The business is housed in wonderfully quirky offices, nestled amongst the art galleries and auction rooms of St James’s. The ability to work in the office for 3 days per week will be key.
