Temporary Receptionist – City of London (Finance Management Firm)


Duration: 2 Weeks (July 2025)
Location: City of London
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-time (Office-based), 09:00-17:30
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a professional and diligent Temporary Receptionist to join a respected finance management firm in the heart of the City of London. This is a short-term assignment to cover a two-week period in July, supporting a close-knit office of 16 individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming calls
  • Managing the collection and distribution of incoming and outgoing post
  • Providing high-quality audio-typing support to 2–3 senior team members
  • Ensuring the reception area is presented to the highest standard at all times
  • Undertaking general administrative duties as required

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proven audio-typing proficiency (this is the central focus of the role)
  • Previous experience in a corporate or formal office environment, ideally on reception
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
  • Immaculate presentation and a highly professional demeanour
  • Strong work ethic and a genuine passion for front-of-house service
