This Birmingham-based role is ideal for someone who doesn’t wish to pursue a legal career directly but still wants to play a vital part in a legal setting. It also offers excellent opportunities for both personal and professional growth.

You’ll need to be highly organised with strong attention to detail, as you’ll be carrying out general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning. You’ll be responsible for handling important legal documents, some of which may be essential to barristers and lawyers working on cases. A key part of the role involves managing paperwork generated by legal professionals – accurately compiling, copying, and archiving this information, and preparing legal bundles for court.
Strong communication skills are essential, as this exciting role will involve working with people across a range of legal teams and departments. You’ll be required to answer incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate person or department. You may also support internal and external events, so a proactive and enthusiastic approach is encouraged.
The role also includes using the CRM system to check and update legal staff on relevant matters. This involves chasing staff for current documentation, and processing and filing information as required.
