Temporary Receptionist – Corporate Office, Professional Services

If you’re a talented and experienced receptionist, we have the role just for you. Working in a professional services environment, we require a front-of-house receptionist to join us on a temporary basis in lovely offices located in the heart of Birmingham city centre.


As the front-of-house receptionist, you will be the face of the company – the first-person people see and speak to. You need to be engaging and confident, with the ability to adapt to all situations. This temporary position is perfect for someone looking to work over the summer or for anyone wishing to expand their experience in an office-based role.
We’re looking for someone with experience in a customer-facing position who is happy to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities. You’ll need to be a go-getter with a positive attitude. This is an excellent opportunity that could lead to more exciting roles in the future.

This is a fast-paced role involving general administrative duties such as photocopying and printing, so strong IT skills are essential. You will also be responsible for ensuring all inbound and outbound calls are directed appropriately. These could be enquiries from customers or clients, so a professional and welcoming manner is key.
Additionally, you will coordinate all events and meetings within the business. This includes booking client event and meeting rooms, liaising with relevant teams, and ensuring that meeting rooms are fully stocked and ready.
