Work in a High-Performing Legal Team as a PA – Birmingham Based
If you’re ready for a change and want to work with a leading specialist in their field, then look no further.
We’re currently seeking a talented Legal PA to join a top-tier law firm based in the heart of Birmingham. You’ll be working in a bright, open-plan office alongside a team dedicated to finding and nurturing the very best talent.
This position involves supporting three of the firm's partners, so we’re looking for a PA with a proven track record, exceptional organisational skills, and the confidence to take initiative. The role sits within the real estate legal sector, so experience in this area would be highly advantageous.
It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. The role combines traditional PA responsibilities with more complex, high-level administrative duties — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and challenge in their day-to-day work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing partners’ diaries, including booking travel, arranging meetings, and setting reminders
• Taking minutes during meetings and following up on action points
• General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
• Acting as the first point of contact, handling all internal and external calls, messages, and correspondence
• Liaising with staff, clients, and external suppliers, and handling queries professionally
• Drafting and preparing documents on behalf of the directors
• Acting as gatekeeper and main point of contact for the directors
• Administering legal paperwork and documentation for the board
• Transferring calls from reception to relevant team members
• Ensuring accurate billing and invoicing of clients
Skills and Experience Required:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Confident handling general office administration
• Previous PA experience is desirable
• Ideally, prior experience in a legal or property-related environment
• Understanding of legal practices and procedures is an advantage
Benefits:
• £200 monthly bonus if targets are met
• Hybrid working available
