Excel Careers and Excel Interim provide multilingual administrative support staff to companies across all sectors, specializing in profiles such as Receptionists, Management Assistants, Executive / Personal Assistants, HR Assistants, Sales & Marketing Assistants, Office Managers, Customer Service Representatives and Digital Marketing Officers. We provide both permanent and interim contracts.
We are currently recruiting a Billing Assistant for one of our clients, a law firm located in Brussels.
The role is inclusive of, but not limited to :
- Maintain expertise in the Firm’s billing systems and tools
- Collaborate with Client Service Lawyers for timely billing and collections
- Support and review Alternative Billing Arrangements
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of time and expense entries with Client Billing Guidelines
- Generate and finalize bills as per attorney and client requirements
- Create ad hoc reports for attorneys and clients
- Manage Electronic Billing platforms and invoice submissions
- Monitor client pipelines and update the Pipeline Control System
Essential Skills and Experience :
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective team collaboration within the department and Firm
- Commitment to professional growth and department goals
- At least two years of experience in Legal or Professional Services Billing; Aderant Legal Billing preferred
- Advanced Excel proficiency
