Excel Careers and Excel Interim provide multilingual administrative support staff to companies across all sectors, specializing in profiles such as Receptionists, Management Assistants, Executive / Personal Assistants, HR Assistants, Sales & Marketing Assistants, Office Managers, Customer Service Representatives and Digital Marketing Officers. We provide both permanent and interim contracts.

We are currently recruiting a Practice Assistant for one of our clients, a law firm based in Brussels.
Salary package : monthly salary in line with experience.


The role is inclusive of, but not limited to :

  • Provide administrative and business support
  • Manage calls, emails, and scheduling, ensuring prompt responses and coordination
  • Arrange domestic and international travel and process expense reimbursements
  • Support business development efforts, including event coordination and client engagement
  • Organize meetings, conferences, and speaking engagements, handling logistics and materials
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Assist with billing
  • Conduct conflict checks, draft client onboarding documents, and liaise with internal teams
  • Oversee document management and coordinate with IT, finance, and administrative support


Essential Skills and Experience :

  • Previous experience in a similar role within an international law firm
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to foster professional relationships globally, both in person and via email or phone, while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities, adapting to change, and demonstrating excellent time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, paired with advanced technical and administrative expertise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience in document formatting and styles
  • Fluent in English and French or Dutch
