Marketing & Business Development Assistant

Manchester-based – willing to travel to Birmingham.

Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing & Business Development Assistant who thrives in implementing new campaigns while taking a lead role in planning events, webinars, seminars, and conferences for current and potential clients. You will develop a deep understanding of the clients and markets in which the business operates. The role is based in Manchester, but it will require occasional visits to the Birmingham office to build relationships across various teams and target groups in the Midlands and Northwest.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage a budget, diary, and travel expenses.
  • Take a leading role in executing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Coordinate legal directories and submissions for interviews.
  • Manage and create events and conferences, including seminars across the West Midlands and Northwest of England.
  • Support the Business Development Manager by strategically implementing effective marketing plans.

Requirements
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification or a desire to study toward this.
  • Excellent IT skills with competency in social media platforms.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in marketing in a sales environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of office hours.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
