Legal Office Manager

My client is an international firm looking to recruit an Office Manager for their Manchester city central office. The role will entail liaising with Senior Operations Manager and Support Services Directors to ensure a firm wide consistent and on budget approach to the provision of administration services


The role will entail managing a team which will include reception and team administrators.

  • Assuming responsibility for the safety and facilities in the office.
  • Liaising with the finance departments to ensure no unbudgeted spend.
  • Reviewing, identifying and implementing improved working practices and consistent adherence to firmwide policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring and reporting regularly on the activities of the Office to the Partners.
  • Overseeing Train and hotel bookings.
  • Managing office events
  • Management of business support staff ensuring that the team effectively carries out organisational goals daily, including appraisals, performance management and daily HR issues.
  • Managing training and development for team
Applicants will have previous office management experience ideally in professional services (Legal or similar). You will Have experience of managing staff.
